Project Coordinator - Services

Location: Hamel, MN

Job Description:

Assist the Services Delivery Manager with day to day activities within the Professional Services area.  Services Project Coordinator will take ownership of SOW process utilizing a technical background, and will complete necessary activities to track and report on the status of projects being delivered or proposed. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create Statements of Work for services engagements; track SOWs through process from creation to completion/billing.
  • Create/Maintain /Update SOW templates as needed.
  • Create monthly status reports and resource utilization reports for sales team and management.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed for projects before engagement is started, and documented in Pivotal CRM system.
  • Ensure Pivotal project information is kept current.
  • Review time entry with Services Delivery Manager and respond to errors.
  • Work with Services Delivery Manager and Finance to ensure timely and accurate Services invoicing.
  • Work with Solutions Support Team and Sales Team to help manage workflow from opportunity to order entry.
  • Work with Sales Support Team to assist with project creation in time entry system (VBS) and 3rd party invoice tracking.
  • Assist sales team with large projects or accounts (attend meetings/document status/create project tracker).
  • Coordinate Services Team meetings, calls and/or enablement sessions.
  • Other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or computer science AND / OR PMI Project Management Certification

Experience

  • 5+ years IT services experience
  • Strong understanding of process development and technical SOW oversight

Manager - Technical Sales & Innovation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Building and executing pre-sales services management strategy, working with senior management to ensure that company objectives are met, including:
  • Lead pre-sales Solution Architect technical team in support of sales team effort to achieve revenue and profit objectives
  • Lead emerging technology focus for the company, and be the management leader for the “BEA” (business evaluation approach) process
  • Lead offering management for the emerging Managed Services practice, including creating repeatable offerings, scope and pricing
    • Responsible for providing strategic and tactical direction throughout presales solution design process
    • Works closely with other members of the management team to evaluate emerging technologies to enhance and expand our solution offerings and capabilities
    • Assesses risk factors and limitations of customer solution and implementation strategy
    • Collaborates with sales team throughout the sales process to ensure that services are accurately  priced and communicated to the customer
    • Keeps up to date on the latest technology trends and directions to ensure the company remains relevant and competitive
    • Develops and enhances the team’s technical and interpersonal skills, including future skills development and career progression paths
    • Responsible for resource planning, evaluating talent and making hiring decisions
    • Evaluates, develops and maintains relationships with outside consultants, vendors and organizations
    • Working with senior management, develop key metrics for success across business functions for inclusion in business scorecard and for future company investments
    • Management leader for the demonstration test lab (Innovation Center) for internal and client use

Job Requirements

Education/Training

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or computer science

Experience

  • 10+ years IT management experience
  • Strong understanding of pre-sales solution architecture, managed services methodology with experience developing pricing strategies, and delivery

Core Competencies

  • Entrepreneurial  approach to management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and work with a collaborative, result oriented team environment
  • Strong understanding of the Information Technology industry, especially market trends and directions

  • Direct reports include 10-12 Pre-Sales Solution Architects, across technical sales, offering management and technology strategy
