The first four years of Joel’s career were spent in public accounting where he obtained his CPA license while specializing in small business tax and strategic planning. Joel then spent five years as the CFO for an industry leading IBM business partner located in the Minneapolis, MN area, overseeing growth of 100% during that period while the company transitioned their focus from a hardware distributor to a software and services systems integrator. Subsequently, he started his own business coupling his industry experience and financial background to successfully create, design, sell and support a visionary ERP solution used by over 75 companies throughout the computer technology distribution industry .
Joel joined Evolving Solutions in 2001 as the controller, and was promoted to Vice President of Operations and Finance in 2008. His successful track record and experiences in technology growth situations provides significant entrepreneurial perspective into the financial controls, processes and strategic planning aspect of successful businesses in the technology industry.
