The rp7410 features support for up to two hardware and eight virtual partitions, and combines it with the ability to scale to up to 8 HP PA-RISC CPUs, for a system that can handle the most demanding computing environments. Advanced available features include 2N hot-swappable, redundant power supplies and hot-swap, redundant cools fans, ECC (error checking & correcting) on all CPUs, cache, memory and I/O paths.

The rp8400 is a midrange server with mainframe-class high availability features, the the computing power to handle mission-critical applications. This sytem is a great way to reduce the TCO (total cost of ownership) because it includes goal-based workload management (WLM), and supports virtual hardware and virtual partitions. These can be configured as a stand alone unit, or you can fit 2 into a standard 2 meter rack.
